This series came out of a visit to Paterson, N.J. where I was intrigued by the urban/natural dialogue that the city invites... a torrent of water, the harnessing of its energy, prosperity, the eventual demise of infrastructure and economy and city, and its people that remain.
"Paterson lies in the valley under the Passaic Falls its spent waters forming the outline of his back."
--William Carlos Williams
